Specialist Wellness Counsellor
ASCHP Registration Number 10175

Welcome.
I’m Morgan-Leigh Collins, an ASCHP-registered Specialist Wellness Counsellor, and Built Through It is the counselling space through which I offer a safe, supportive environment for reflection, healing, and growth.
This is a space for people who have been shaped by their experiences — sometimes in painful or unexpected ways — and who are looking to reconnect with themselves with compassion and clarity. Through counselling, I support individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, emotional struggles, and periods of transition, at a pace that feels respectful and grounded.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and integrative. I draw on evidence-informed psychological frameworks while remaining deeply attuned to your lived experience, your values, and your sense of meaning. You do not need to arrive with answers or a clear plan — beginning exactly where you are is more than enough.
Wherever you find yourself right now, you are not alone. Support is available, and change is possible.
Areas of Support
People seek counselling for many different reasons. You may be living with anxiety, low mood, burnout, or emotional exhaustion. You may be processing grief, difficult life experiences, or the ongoing impact of emotional wounds. You may feel stuck, uncertain about who you are becoming, or disconnected from meaning and direction in your life.
Through Built Through It, I work with teens and adults who are navigating challenges such as identity exploration, self-esteem difficulties, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the cumulative effects of stress or trauma. My work is grounded in the belief that growth and change happen in relationship — through emotional safety, curiosity, and thoughtful exploration of what feels authentic and aligned for you.
Counselling is not about rushing toward solutions or fixing what is “wrong.” It is about understanding what has shaped you, what may be holding you back, and how you would like to move forward, gently and intentionally.
My practice is integrative and person-centred. I draw on principles from mindfulness-based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existential therapy, narrative work, cognitive-behavioural ideas, and positive psychology. These approaches are adapted collaboratively, always with your individual experience, needs, and goals at the centre of our work.
I see counselling as a shared process. Together, we create space for insight, emotional regulation, self-compassion, and meaning-making — without pressure to perform, disclose more than you are ready for, or move faster than feels safe.
You are capable of more than simply getting through each day. With time, support, and reflection, it is possible to grow into a life that feels more meaningful and more your own.

Contact Me
You’re welcome to get in touch, whether you’re feeling ready to begin counselling or simply have a few questions. Reaching out can feel daunting, and you’re not expected to have everything figured out before you do.
I believe that access to support matters. If financial constraints make my standard rates feel out of reach, you’re welcome to contact me to discuss whether a limited sliding-scale option may be available. Where possible, I aim to offer flexibility while maintaining ethical and sustainable practice.
Wherever you’re starting from, you deserve care, dignity, and to be met with respect.
